Never a dull moment for Chester Bennington

Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington promises to be a busy man in the coming months. Work has been completed on his new solo project, Dead By Sunrise, featuring former members of Orgy/Julien K.

“I came up with a few songs that felt and sounded really good, but I knew they weren’t right stylistically for Linkin Park,” Bennington says in a press release announcing Out of Ashes. “They were darker and moodier than anything I’d come up with for the band. So I decided to work on them on my own rather than turn them over and have them transformed into Linkin Park tracks.”

Dead By Sunrise tapped Howard Benson (Three Days Grace, Flyleaf, Papa Roach) to produce their debut album ‘Out Of Ashes‘ which they plan to release this September.
