Artist Bio

Egypt Central was formed in October 2001 by John Falls, Joey Chicago, Blake Allison, and Heath Hindman in the city of Memphis, Tennessee. The recently discovered group released their debut record in 2008. The band released “Over and Under ”, “You Make Me Sick” and “Taking You Down” to national radio. All three songs significantly impacted active rock radio charts. Leading the band to have one of the most successful independent rock releases of the year.

The band was featured in WWE’s Smackdown vs. Raw 09’ which featured “You Make Me Sick” and “Taking You Down”. As well as being featured in the game, the band also had the song “Over and Under” featured in the major motion picture “The Condemned” starring Stone Cold Steve Austin. “Over and Under” was also in the THQ video game “Stuntman Ignition”.

Touring Highlights:

At the beginning of 2007 the band embarked on a vigorous 2 year tour schedule. After playing both Ozzfest and Family Values in 2007 the band went on to tour over 100 markets in the U.S. and Canada. November and December 2008 they were direct support for Disturbed in North America.

The band has recently departed the independent record label Fat Lady Music /ILG/Warner Music Group with no obligation or attachment. They are currently taking new label offers.

    This is one of the best damn live bands that you will ever see. Not only that, they are such down to earth guys. Just a great overall band. I can’t wait to see them again in Michigan Center, MI.

    I remember when i ordered their cd off cd baby over 2 years ago..i loved it and knew they’d eventually get the recognition they deserved. They are a bunch of awesome guys and i know their future is gonna be very successful

    i love this band its the coolest ever and i havether new album it rocks and my cousion heath hindman is the best ever even though in memaw and pops eye your not theirr fav. but it doesnt mean that your not mine.lol! well i know you prolly dont think i know what im talking abt but its true i think your number 1 in my list of fav’s in our famliy even though we really never have actully talked but maybe just a few min but i think it would be real fun to know the real you and if only u could meet the real me lol when im not around memaw ,pop, and uncle don and the rest of the famliy well cant wait to see you i love you bye-bye

    the only people i pitty are the people that don’t like egypt central or the ones that don’t know of them. they don’t know what they are missing. they are a fantastic band and their music has immense meaning. these guys are great people, as a band and ad individuals.
